The Chengdu 2021 Summer World University Games, also known as the 31st Summer Universiade, will be held in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China from August 18 to August 27, 2021. This is the fourth time that China has hosted the Universiade, and Chengdu is the host city after previously hosting the 6th National Games in 1987 and the 10th National Games in 2001.

The Universiade will feature 18 major events and 270 minor events, including athletics, swimming, gymnastics, basketball, football, volleyball, table tennis, badminton, diving, shooting, weightlifting, wrestling, judo, boxing, fencing, wushu, sailing, and modern pentathlon. 在场馆设置和建设方面，成都市确定了位于龙泉驿区的东安湖体育中心主体育场作为大运会开、闭幕式主场馆。该体育中心占地约678亩，由4万座主体育场、1.8万座多功能体育馆和小球馆、游泳跳水馆组成。主体育场将于2021年4月底前完工投用。
